Likely damaged in air-combat with RN/FAA Blackburn Skua Dive-Bomber of 801 Squadron (HMS ARK ROYAL) in Narvik area. The pilot Uffz.Alfred(Albrecht) Weimann. Fw.Krebs and one more crew member made a forced landing on the mountain Nonsfjellet west of Namskogan, due to engines failure when returning to Vaernes. All three became POW's and were sent to England.

This aircraft was also based at lake Jonsvannet 12.04.1940. Moved to Trondheim Værnes Airfield 17.04.1940.

The wreck was lifted and flown out by RNoAF Sea King helicopter "073" on 03.09.1987. It arrived at Gardermoen on Sept.28 1990 where it was put on public display "as is" at Forsvarets Flysamling Gardermoen.

One member of this crew used to belong to 5./JG 26. None of the members had previously belonged to KG 30. W.Nr. 0880133 was painted on fuselage in wing root area.

The nose of this aircraft has been modified to a pointed all-metall nose. To increase the speed, the external bomb racks and the diving brakes have been removed. The wing construction has also been lightened. The armament had been increased by the addition of four fixed guns in the nose.(Three MG's and a cannon.)

To av mannskapet var såpass uskadet at de tok seg ned til gården Åbjøra for og hente hjelp til tredjemann som lå skadet ved flyet. Han ble fraktet ned på kjelke dagen etter.
