The Memorial of the allied aircrews killed in attacks and reconnaissance on Tirpitz in Fættenfjord 1942.On the top of the monument is one of the 1000 lb Mk XIX spherical contact mines which were carried by the Halifaxes of 10 and 35 Sqdns.
Lofjord, where "Prinz Eugen" was moored for repair in February 1942. På det meste,den 21.mars lå det samlet 30 tyske marinefartøyer her i Lofjorden bla. Tirpitz, Admiral Hipper, samt jagerne Z-24, Z-26, Z-30 og noen torpedobåter.

Flew into an air defence cable placed to protect "Tirpitz" during flight Værnes - Hattfjelldal. Obltn. Bolz, Gerhard Ob. Sigel, Walther (eikeløvsbærer) Reg.baurat. Hilburg, Gustav. All buried at Havstein Cemetery. The plane had been coming low into the fjord, and had hit one of the vertical wires attached to the main horizontal wire. Its propeller had then twisted up the wire, the plane was hanging for some seconds before falling into the ground with its tail down. It hit the ground few meters above the railway line
