Spitfire Mk IV Bæverdalen Surnadal
1st.PRU RAF serial AA 810 5.3 1942
F/Lt. Alastair D.M. Gunn
was shot down by two Messerschmitts from Jagdgruppe Losigkeit, flown by Heinz
Knoke and Dieter Gerhard. Gunn became POW. He was later transfered to Sagan
Prison camp. There he took part in "The Greate Escape". He was captured
and executed 4.June 1944
